This is by far the best avocado salsa I’ve ever had!  The Best because it doesn’t just taste delicious it is also super easy and you can pretty much adjust every ingredient to your wishes.

This salsa is good on tortilla chips, on a baked potato, in wraps heated with some shredded colby-jack or even by the spoonfuls.  It is really great for parties but is cool and refreshing for those hot summer days too!

If you are lucky enough to have a garden full of tomatoes this is a great recipe to use them up just add some Italian seasoning.


2 avocados, pitted, peeled and chopped apx 1/4 pieces

1 can (14.5oz) Italian diced tomatoes, no salt added, drained

1 can (14.5oz) chickpeas, drained

1 can (14.5oz) black beans, drained

Red onion

Minced garlic

Lime juice






Mix all ingredients and serve.
The last 6 ingredients are all to taste.
You may want to chill for a bit so the flavors get to know each other.

This is also a great way to use all those tomatoes you get from your garden.
You may add a can of corn also!! (Nutrition does not reflect this)
