As a woman getting into fitness I was pretty clueless when it came to the benefits of supplements  and how they could enhance the hard work I was putting in at the gym. Over the past few years I’ve learned a great deal through studying, my own personal trial and error, and working with top supplement company Dymatize Nutrition. One of the supplements I can’t go without, and would highly recommend to anyone, are BCAA’s.

BCAAs are short for Branch Chain Amino Acids. BCAAs consist of three of the essential amino acids that the body cannot produce: Valine, Leucine, and Iso-Leucine. Because the body cannot produce them they need to be ingested through foods or supplementation.

  • Reduce muscle fatigue.
  • Speed up recovery.
  • Decrease the loss of other amino acids from muscles during exercise.
  • Help the body absorb protein and increase protein synthesis.
  • Immune system support.
  • Prevention of lean muscle mass.

Like many women, time in the gym is precious. I work full time and my schedule is a bit hectic.  Life can be a bit of a juggle, to say the least. Having a supplement that aids in muscle repair, fights fatigue, and helps improve my immune system is a must for me!

Working out has many benefits but if you’re too sore, too tired, or too run down exercise can be a stressor instead of something that enhances your life. Adding in Amino Pro from Dymatize gives me the energy I need during my intense workouts and has greatly improved my recovery time.  Something I think most women would appreciate!

First, there are NO side effects when taking BCAAs, just benefits. You can supplement BCAAs anytime during the day, but for optimal results try using 30-60 minutes before your workout. BCAA’s are also very beneficial during to help increase performance and delay fatigue. Consistent use of BCAAs will help with the maintenance of lean muscle mass during intense workouts and physical stress.

If you’ve been on the fence about adding BCAAs to your supplement stack, it’s time to start! Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or are a hardcore athlete BCAAs are a great way to enhance your results. Consistent use will result in less fatigue during your workouts, allowing you to train harder and with more intensity which will result in measurable gains in both strength and muscularity. Because these amino acids cannot be produced by the body they must be ingested through food or supplements. Try Amino Pro from Dymatize and take before and during your workout for optimal results.
