Santa loves fudge and we got the scoop on Skinny Santa’s Favorite Fudge Mug Cake! Not only is it packed with your favorite RULE 1 WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE, in Chocolate Fudge flavor, but it also has a lava surprise in the middle!

The lava is the hand full of decadent chocolate chips added in the second half of cooking! This mug cake recipe is for the serious choco-holics out there!

Worried about the macros? No sweat…

…just omit the chocolate chips! We promise Skinny Santa’s Favorite Fudge Mug Cake will still be absolutely satisfying!

The best part about this recipe is that it uses RULE 1 WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE, in the Chocolate Fudge flavor as the base instead of your typical carby white flour.

The chocolate chips give it a little extra gooey goodness, but as we mention above they are not necessary to give this decadent treat the delicious rich chocolate flavor!

INGREDIENTS for Skinny Santa’s Favorite Fudge Mug Cake

1 tablespoon flour

one scoop RULE 1 WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE, Chocolate Fudge

1 tablespoon Splenda (or stevia or your choice of sweetener)

one teaspoon instant coffee granules

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup light soymilk, vanilla (you can also use almond milk)

A splash of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of dark chocolate chips

Directions for Skinny Santa’s Favorite Fudge Mug Cake

Combine all ingredients in a large mug or regular size cereal or soup bowl.

Place in microwave and set timer for 25 minutes.

When timer goes off stir; then place the dark chocolate chips in the center of fudge.

Continue to microwave for another 20-25 minutes.

Allow to sit for one minute.

Very important to not over-bake protein.
