The combination of two ingredients are what gives these brownies the rich delicious taste that other higher fat brownies have in them.
THE NOT-SO-SECRET INGREDIENT
The use of black beans add a ton of nutrients such as protein, fiber, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Protein in black beans compared to the protein in lean meats, have minimal amounts of saturated fat and contains zero cholesterol.
Protein also increases muscles mass and lean tissue. Foods high in fiber will leave you feeling fuller longer so these protein brownies will actually decrease your need to indulge. Although, you will feel like you are after one taste!
Foods rich in antioxidants have been known to lower the risk of heart disease and different types of cancer. Also, antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and E, and other minerals like selenium will improve our immune system.
A BROWNIE THAT HELPS YOU LOSE WEIGHT
As we stated above black beans are rich in fiber which expands and prevents you from overindulging which aids in weight loss. They also contain minimal calories so these are a perfect addition for anybody trying to lose weight.
INGREDIENTS for Santa’s Favorite Healthy Holiday Brownies
1 can (15.28g) black beans, drain & rinse
1 cup (apx 4 scoops) DYMATIZE ISO-100, Fudge Brownie flavor
one whole egg
3 egg whites
1 TB instant coffee grounds
2 tsp baking soda
6 TB cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
1 cup Splenda (or sweetener of your choice, remember you will need less stevia if you choose to use that instead)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS for Santa’s Favorite Healthy Holiday Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper with some over sides.
Place drained and rinsed black beans in food processor with egg and egg whites. Pulse until fully blended.
Pour black bean mixture in a medium bowl and add all other ingredients and mix well.
Pour brownie mix into pan and bake for apx 25-30 mins.
Allow to cool and lift out of pan.

🎄Using your favorite Christmas cutouts and icing grab your kiddos and make some memories!🎄
🎅melt white chocolate and dip one end of brownie and sprinkle Christmas decorations on top
🎅use crushed candy canes or crushed peppermint candies on top
🎅drizzle melted white or dark chocolate on top
🎅use a Christmas tree cut out to cut out brownie shape; snap the bottom of a candy cane and use it for the tree stump
