We all know how vital it is to consume protein within 30 minutes after your workout but did you know that the benefits of a fast-acting carbohydrate is just as essential? A study in the February 2003 issue of the “Journal of Strength Conditioning Research” notes that consuming carbohydrates after a strength-training workout expedites recovery.

Makes 2 cookies.
2 small (ish) very ripe bananas
1 cup of old-fashioned oats
2 SCOOPS Dymatize ISO-100, Cinnamon Bun

Mix all ingredients mashing together well with a fork.
Spray cookie sheet with PAM spray
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
