Your French toast has evolved!

This protein packed breakfast will get you looking forward to getting out of bed! We not only gave you one LIGHTER VERSION but added a MUSCLE BUILDER VERSION!!

PB&J French Toast use “sprouted grain” …but what are sprouted grains? You ask?

These are breads that contain the whole grain (or kernel, or berry) of various seeds after they have been sprouted. They are different from ‘white’ bread.  ‘White’ breads are made from ground wheat endosperm (after removal of the bran and germ). Whole grain breads include the bran, germ and endosperm, therefore providing more fiber, and naturally occurring vitamins and proteins. Sprouted  grain breads have roughly the same amount of vitamins per gram.

A comparison of nutritional analyses shows that sprouted grains contain about 75% of the energy (carbohydrates), slightly higher protein and about 40% of the fat when compared to whole grains. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sprouted_bread)

PB&J FRENCH TOAST | LIGHT VERSION

Ingredients:
2 Slices sprouted bread
2 Egg whites
1/2 Scoop peanut butter protien powder
Sugar free jelly

Preparation:
Spread the jelly on the sprouted bread
Whip egg whites and protein together
Completely cover and coat your sandwich in the egg white mixture.
Coat pan with non-stick cooking spray and cook on each side until brown.

PB&J FRENCH TOAST | MUSCLE BUILDER

Ingredients:
2 Slices sprouted bread
2 Egg whites
1/2 Scoop peanut butter protien powder
2 tbsp nuts ‘n more peanut butter
Sugar free jelly

Preparation:
Make your PB&J sandwich with jelly and Nuts N More PB
Whip egg whites and protein together
Completely cover and coat bread in mixture.
Coat pan with non-stick cooking spray and cook on each side until brown.
