6 Tips to help stay on track during the holidays

🛑Don’t stand/sit near the buffet table. Find a seat away from the food if possible, so you don’t mindlessly reach and snack without thinking.
🛑Scan the food first before you add anything to your plate.
🛑Make veggies and salad the focus of your plate.
🛑Choose favorites that are only here for the holidays.
🛑Bring a healthy dish.  Veggie plates, tossed salad, both are great staples and are sure to be appreciated.
🛑Watch the alcohol. So many drinks are high sugar/ calorie options. And alcohol and over eating go hand in hand (may we remind you of the delicious egg nog recipe above).
💃DANCE!  Hit the dance floor! A better way to avoid the buffet and get your workout in!
🛑Don’t show up hungry. Have a high protein snack on the way.
