As a busy mom I often find myself rushing out the door last minute to get the kids to school on time, which leads to me stopping at the coffee shop on my way to the office for my latte. This can be extremely expensive and when looking at the nutrition in such lattes… there is much to be desired.
Recently I began to play around with a coffee protein shake recipe and have found an amazing combination incorporating my favorite isolate protein and the ever popular café series Amino Energy. It shakes easily in a shaker cup and is a huge step above the coffee shop option when it comes to nutrition.
What you need:
2 scoops Integrated Supplements Isolate Whey Protein (Chocolate Mint flavor)
1 Scoop Optimum Nutrition Café Series (Iced Café Vanilla)
5 oz low fat milk – Substitute Almond or Soy milk if desired
15-20 oz cold water
24 fl oz Shaker Cup (Hersuppz.com shaker cup works perfect!)
Directions: In a 24 fl oz shaker combine the listed ingredients. Shake well. Enjoy
