We asked Elspeth what some of her favorite and super easy recipes were that helps her stay fit and fits her busy schedule. She didn’t disappoint! This is just one of the recipes she uses just about every day to stay within her macros and gives her the energy she needs to get her through her workout and lasts until her next meal.
A little meal prep goes a long way when you are counting macros or watching your calories. Strawberry Vanilla Overnight Oatmeal is one of the easiest breakfasts you can make to keep you on track, help you reach your goals and manage your mornings all at the same time!
INGREDIENTS for Oatmeal
1/4 cup uncooked old fashioned rolled oats
1 scoop Dymatize Elite Whey Protein, Vanilla Cupcake flavor
1/4 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
1/4 c vanilla unsweetened almond milk
1 to 3 drops (to taste) NOW Better Stevia
1 tablespoon of strawberry jam, preserves, or spread
1/4 to 1/3 cup strawberries (cut each berry in half), or enough to fill jar
DIRECTIONS
Using a large cereal bowl or mason jar add oatmeal, Dymatize Elite Whey Protein, yogurt, almond milk, stevia, preserves, strawberries and stir.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap or cover glass jar using lid and refrigerate overnight. You can actually store in refrigerator for as long as 2-3 days!
In the morning simply warm up in the microwave (remember to remove the metal lid if using a glass mason jar!) I have already eaten it chilled!
