Pumpkin and chocolate go together like muscles and mascara!! Throw in your favorite protein and you have got yourself a winning combination!
This recipe is not only delicious it is packed with nutrients and taste like you are cheating on your diet!
1 cup pumpkin puree
¼ cup maple syrup
2 TB milk
2 TB pure vanilla extract
3 TB NOW Coconut Oil
½ cup flour
1 cup (apx 4 scoops) DYMATIZE Elite Whey Protein, Chocolate Cake Batter or Rich Chocolate
2 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp salt
Pinch ground cloves
½ cup melted chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 F and spray a 8X8 baking dish with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl combine eggs, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract and NOW Coconut Oil using a mixer if necessary.
Combine the remaining ingredients flour, DYMATIZE Elite Whey Protein, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, salt and cloves in a separate small bowl and mix thoroughly.
Whisk dry ingredients with wet ingredients until smooth.
Pour into an 8×8 in baking dish and bake for 22-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Melt a ½ cup of chocolate chips and spread evenly over the top.
