Besides, being a mom and wife Jessica is also a bodybuilder. Along with her husband she has competed in several competitions from 2012 from 2015. “Every competition brings more information on how to be better and stronger both mentally and physically” she says.
Jessica reached 200 pounds after having children and several things led her down a path of wanting to be healthier and better for herself and for her family; countless fitness dvds, a constant gym membership, leading a weight management class at her church (they lost over 1000 pounds in a period of 5 years) and a personal trainer telling me she had good symmetry.
Although she learned many things on her fitness journey, the one thing that she hears over and over no matter what size people are, is the self-talk that many women tell themselves regarding the way they see themselves. Jessica is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have the tools and wisdom of the people around her to help women of all shapes and dynamics to help them #findtheirstrength
