- Frankincense – this essential oil was long used because it has beauty benefits. However, frankincense also has properties that can relax you and ease tension promoting pain relief naturally.
- Sweet Ginger – when infused through an inhaler or applied as a massage oil, sweet ginger has a warming power to it that will provide relief to sore muscles and reduce aches and pains.
- Marjoram – if back pain is due to overextended muscles, marjoram is the best essential oil for the job because of its antispasmodic properties.
The Power of Scent and Back Pain
Along with having properties for inflammation and pain, essential oils have aromas that are pleasing to the mind and body as a whole. You may have to try out a few different ones to determine which one you like the most and which one provides you with the best results. Just be sure to follow all the directions as far as the dosage and application method to be sure you are getting an accurate experience.
